Camper Insurance ::

Caravan wise offer camper insurance for DIY or home conversion camper vans.

In order to qualify for the coverage the camper must be fully converted to a motorhome or camper van at the time cover is incepted (the start date of the insurance policy) and you must be able to provide us with an “Engineers Report” which can be undertaken by any MOT garage. The engineers report must be received by Caravanwise Limited within 14 days of the camper van or motorhome going on cover. This is a very strict requirement by NIG and failure to provide the report in time will result in cancellation and time on risk costs being incurred.

In order to qualify for this insurance a fully converted motorhome or camper van must have all of the following permanently built in:

* A built in bed * A wardrobe * Cooking facilities * A seating/dining area * Housing for water storage

The base vehicle must be a UK or European Union manufactured van.
